What makes Antic different than every other pre-workout company?Great question! Antic is unique because we only use ingredients that you can actually read or find at local stores. All of our ingredients are natural or naturally derived (such as the amino acid supplements) and we stay away from any artificial flavors, colors, dyes, sweeteners, or any other additives. No fillers, no junk that you don't need, just simple ingredients to give you the pick-me-up you need. Also, we've heard from our clients that we're the only pre-workout that didn't make them have to poop right away, soooo that's a plus!

What actually are some of the supplements?- Caffeine monohydrate is a natural stimulant found in several different types of plants such as coffee beans and tea leaves. Caffeine is primarily used for mental alertness and exercise improvement, but can also be used to help with headaches, migraines, and memory. - L-Theanine is an amino acid found in tea and some mushrooms. It's a naturally occurring amino acid that can aid in improved mental function, anxiety, and/or stress. - L-Citrulline is an amino acid found in fruits and vegetables. It helps increase nitric oxide production in the body, which helps your arteries relax and work better, which improves blood flow throughout your body. - Beta-Alanine is an amino acid that is produced naturally in the body and also found in meat such as beef, chicken and fish. Beta-alanine aids in the production of carnosine, which plays a role in muscle endurance during high-intensity exercise.

What is Stevia?Organic Stevia leaf extract is a sugar substitute made from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant of South America. The leaves contain chemicals called steviol glycosides which have a highly concentrated sweet flavor. Stevia is about 200 to 400 times sweeter than table sugar and is a non-nutritive sweetener, which means it has no carbohydrates, calories, or artificial ingredients. Some people may not like Stevia, which is why all of our products can be substituted with other natural sweeteners such as Allulose, Monk Fruit, and standard cane sugar.

I'm new to pre-workouts, what am I getting myself into? Not to worry! Starting any type of supplement can be daunting. Pre-workouts generally work by increasing your alertness and improving vascular or muscular performance. Our supplement dosages are formulated for the average fitness enthusiast, and you'll notice many of our supplements are dosed far lower than most pre-workouts commercially available. This is by design. We wanted a low barrier of entry for most people and a type of pick-me-up that's not overly intense. If you're worried about the dosages, or any of the ingredients, we highly recommend consulting with your physician or nutritionist to learn more and see if our products are right for you.

Do I need Creatine Monohydrate?Creatine is a chemical found naturally in the body and is also found in red meat and seafood. People commonly use creatine for improving exercise performance and increasing muscle mass, as well as aiding with muscle cramps and fatigue. It works by helping the muscles retain more water. Creatine is one of the most studied supplements in the world and is even allowed by the International Olympic Committee and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). We cannot recommend creatine enough, but if you're not sure whether or not creatine is right for you, we highly suggest consulting with your physician or nutritionist.
